Welcome to Stronger Together Appalachia Aid. We are a group of disc golfers from Charlotte, North Carolina raising funds for communities affected by hurricane Helene. All profits from our disc sales go directly to charities that provide services to underserved communities in the Appalachian area.

About Hospitality House Northwest North Carolina

Hospitality House, a regional nonprofit housing and homeless services agency, works in seven rural North Carolina counties (Watauga, Wilkes, Ashe, Avery, Alleghany, Mitchell, Yancey) providing housing, shelter, food access, homeless prevention, street outreach, counseling, medical care, and crisis assistance. Since 1984, the mission of Hospitality House has been to rebuild lives and strengthen community by providing a safe, nurturing, healthy environment in which individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty-related crises are equipped to become self-sufficient and productive.

Why HospHouse NWNC?

Three months after hurricane Helene people are struggling to find housing. In Western NC alone, over 100k homes were damaged or destroyed completely.

HospHouse is working to end homelessness in NWNC and are more than a shelter. Providing key services with their food bank and medical care are critical at this time. A 4 star charity on Charity Navigator (highest ranking), one of the highest rated nonprofits in NC, have been awarded best of the best in Watauga County, and more.

HospHouse has been providing mobile showers, food, supplies, shelter, and assistance to victims of hurricane Helene in many rural and hard hit counties in western North Carolina.
